Oris renews Formula 1 partnership with Williams

Swiss watch manufacturer Oris and the Williams F1 team have renewed their association for another year.

Ulrich W. Herzog, executive chairman of Oris, said: “The prestigious world of Formula One continues to be a great platform to promote Oris. Renewing the partnership for a twelfth season reinforces our continued support and commitment to Williams. As a purely mechanical Swiss watch brand we at Oris identify with the highly demanding racing environment and this dedication to quality and success.”

The Oris logo will now feature in a new, more prominent position on the nose of the Williams cars during the 2014 season and continue to be a feature of the driver and mechanic overalls as well as drivers’ gloves, helmets and kit worn by team personnel.

While Sir Frank Williams, team principal of Williams, added: “Oris feel like a part of the family having been a partner with us for twelve years now, and I’m delighted to announce that this relationship will continue once again for 2014.
