Omega to open new Oxford St boutique this weekend

Omega will open the doors of its new flagship store on London’s Oxford Street this weekend.

The new two-storey, 244 sq meter boutique is at the heart of one of London’s busiest shopping districts and features eight floor-to-ceiling windows.

The ground floor sales area has been designed using Omega’s new interior concept based on the natural elements of air, water and sunlight. Shades of cream and champagne are used alongside exotic reconstituted zebra wood furniture and chiselled glass surfaces. Curved details are used to give the boutique a fluid, spacious appearance.

A VIP room on the first floor allows guests to relax while they look through the collections on offer while a customer service reception allows clients to arrange for any urgent or last minute Omega watch repairs or a service, which will be overseen and managed by the two experienced watchmakers based on the premises full time.

Stephen Urquhart, president of Omega said: “We have always had a strong connection to London and the UK and we continue to be confident in the strength of this market. This flagship store will give our brand even greater visibility. We’re proud of our presence on this major shopping street and I am sure that shoppers and passers-by will be attracted to the new design of this important Omega Boutique and will find it just as enchanting as we do.”

Full Omega collections including fine jewellery, accessories and leather goods as well as watches will be available at the boutique.
