Omega launches site dedicated to women

Omega has launched a new website called Time for Women, an invite-only portal where women in positions of leadership from around the world will be able to discuss current affairs, the arts and business, while also offering a space for them to network.

The Time for Women site is an extension of Omega’s exclusive dinners that it has been running for women in positions of power all over the world.

A release from the brand said: "TimeForWomen.com was designed as a way to continue substantive and inspired conversations generated at exclusive Omega hosted dinners.

“The powerful, successful women who were invited to attend these events were chosen for their accomplishments and leadership.”

Omega said the site’s launch was part of its ongoing corporate social responsibilities and says its dinner events have been unprecedented in their success. Time for Women has been a natural progression following the dinners, offering the women a place to meet regularly and continue their conversations.

The site aims to establish a social network for its female members and will offer a forum-like space where news will be regularly updated and global themes such as art, politics, business, the environment and other topics can be discussed.

Each member will be able to communicate with other members after their registration, and a dedicated mentorship section will be established enabling the members to offer mentoring to other women who are part of the site.
