Olivia Burton picks up top industry award

British brand Olivia Burton has received a top industry award, winning the Fast Track 100 Awards, Ones to Watch.

The Fast Track Ones to Watch 10 represents the best of the companies whose sales growth falls just short of the main league table, but who are set to grow rapidly in the future.

The top ten companies, including Olivia Burton, are featured in the supplement in The Sunday Times and are invited to the national awards dinner.

Jemma Fennings and Lesa Bennett, ex-fashion buyers, set up Olivia Burton in 2012 to target a gap in the market.

The young duo quit their jobs in the fashion industry to launch their vintage inspired watch brand from Jemma’s house in Chelmsford.

Over the last year years the brand has expanded its portfolio with stockists across the globe including Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Nordstrom.

On winning the award, Fennings said: “It’s been an amazing 5 years and we’re so chuffed to have this recognition, both for us and our team who are truly dedicated and passionate about the brand.”

“Fast Track has given us the opportunity to chat with some amazing people, some of which we’ve admired since a young age. Sitting next to Sir Richard Branson at dinner and bouncing around ideas is something I’d never have imagined I’d be doing. Just goes to show that anything is possible!” Bennett added.

“We’re excited when looking forward to the future and the opportunities for the brand. Being part of the Fast Track family is incredible!”
