Luxury watch and jewellery store Ogden of Harrogate has completed a major refurbishment of its James Street showroom, including the creation of a new first floor showroom and wedding department.

It has also brought its workshop, which carries out watch repairs along with bespoke jewellery manufacturing, into the store. Customers can now see the detailed work taking place through a spectacular glass wall.

“We have enhanced the elegance of our beautiful Edward showroom and have also created the beautiful Regency Room on the first floor, which is home to our new wedding department,” said Ben Ogden, director of the fifth-generation family-owned business.

The refurbishment comes at the end of year when Ogden of Harrogate has significantly grown its luxury Swiss watch business, including becoming an official Zenith partner earlier this year. The LVMH brand joins a portfolio including Breguet, Omega and Bremont.

“This is a very exciting time for us,” said Robert Ogden. “2014 marks the 121st year of Ogden of Harrogate and we are firmly moving the business forward. We have recently welcomed Zenith watches and look forward to the arrival of other new brands throughout the year.”
