Danish watch brand Obaku is celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2017, and is marking the occasion with a new look and some exciting watch launches.
The past ten years have not been a smooth ride, but the company is proud of how far it has come since 2007 when a small team of Danes ventured from their hometown of Aarhus to Baselworld, the world’s largest watch show.
Ten years on the brand’s progress is reflected in the grand booth design Obaku will show this year, featuring an exclusive coffee lounge and imitating a full Danish living room.
One watch on display will be its latest ladies’ watch called Lykke, the Danish word for happiness. The petite piece uses Swarovski crystals in a single row on elongated lugs to add sparkle.
The mesh bracelet is fully integrated into the case and flows out as a continuation of the watch. It comes in three initial colour versions priced at around £145-160.
