O.W.L watches launch into travel retail sector

O.W.L watches has launched its SS15 collection into the travel retail sector, working with Travel Retail Connection.

O.W.L managing director, Annette Allen said: “O.W.L operates a selective distribution strategy and sees travel retail as an important channel to grow the brand internationally. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Travel Retail Connections who will be managing this market for us.

“We guarantee an ethical and responsible supply chain for our products by ensuring all our watches pass the industry standard tests put in place by the EU/EC Directive through the Birmingham Assay office, and by working with Sedex-approved manufacturers. We are very proud of our current collection and excited by what we have in store for 2015 and beyond.”

O.W.L showcased its SS15 collection to retailers at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham earlier this month and at the recent CMJ spring trade event, generating a ‘fantastic’ response.

The elegant British watch brand has already noticed a ‘huge impact’ on brand awareness since working with Travel Retail Connection director Helen Hamblem, who said: “O.W.L Watches are inspired by British heritage but, at the same time, incorporating a contemporary design ethos that has given O.W.L a unique brand handwriting style that fills a gap in the current market.

“O.W.L has had a fantastic first year growing the brand in the UK and I am thrilled to be joining them on their journey to grow the brand worldwide.”
