French fashion watch brand O.D.M. has launched another timepiece with Sunderland-born product designer Michael Young, this time called the Sunstitch – a solar powered timepiece with touch-screen functionality.
The watch is button free and is operated by a touch screen system, which O.D.M. says is “trending massively in the gadget watch market right now”, and shows that the brand is using “the newest technology” in its watchmaking.
The timepiece can operate in either digital mode or with an LCA display.
The Sunstitch has a plastic case with a mineral glass lens, with a 45mm case, polyurethane strap and a stainless steel buckle.
O.D.M. aims to market it watches at the 18- to 40-year-old market. The Sunstitch is available in six different colour schemes including white and gold.
