NOMOS Glashütte’s new ‘Update’ watches are scheduled to ship to selected retailers in mid-May, the company has confirmed.
The watch brand’s latest designs, which are slightly larger and equipped with the latest neomatik caliber with a date, were showcased at Baselworld earlier this year and received a positive response from the trade.
NOMOS said the new line is now “good to go” and will be with key retail partners by the middle of next month. Its new Autobahn model, as well as the new Tetras of the Petit Four series, are already available now.
Meanwhile, NOMOS Tangente neomatik 39 was recently voted ‘Classic Watch of the Year 2018’ from a shortlist of 50 by readers of respected German weekly ‘Welt am Sonntag’.
CEO Uwe Ahrendt said the endorsement was a big boost for the company. “We are really delighted, and feeling a little proud too. With neomatik, we have set a new standard when it comes to the self-winding sector of the industry. Tangente is and was our very first watch, and it keeps on rolling with the times—to the benefit of our customers,” he commented.
