New Trident timepiece from Christopher Ward comes with a splash

The new C60 Trident Chronograph 300 from Christopher Ward has been released, offering water resistance of up to 300 metres.

The C60 Trident Chronograph 300 takes elements of the popular C60 Trident 300 and then adds a chronograph functionality.

Powered by a Swiss-made quartz movement, Ronda 3520.D, the new timepiece is accurate to -10/+20 seconds a month, and its dual function chronograph eye can measure from tenths of a second all the way through to 12 hours.

On the dial, two vertically-aligned subdials are each framed within an elevated and printed outer ring.

The 43mm case of the new Trident timepiece is constructed from marine-grade stainless steel and its aluminium bezel is available in either black or orange, the former complemented by red second and subdial hands and the latter in orange throughout.

Christopher Ward is a leading innovator in the British watch industry having pioneered its own in-house Swiss movement, Calibre SH21, at a time when no other British watch brand had created a commercially viable in-house movement for 50 years.
