New brands and growth for Watches2U

Watches2U.com has had a busy Autumn taking on ten new brands, filtering its jewellery sales over to a separate website and acquiring Google’s retailing approval.

Brands added to the Watches2U.com portfolio in the last few months include Barbour, Kate Spade, Coach, Komono, Karl Lagerfeld, O.W.L, Thomas Earnshaw, Klaus Kobec, REC and Zoom.

The e-tailer has also earned Google Certified Shop status, which promotes online retailers with a proven track record of good customer service and offers up to £1,000 lifetime purchase protection.

Danny Toffel, managing director of Watches2U international, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be part of the Google Certified Shops program. We make every effort to offer our customers the best ranges, prices and customer service, and are thrilled that we have been recognised for it.”

The company, which is planning a television advertising campaign in the run up to Christmas, has reported that Watches2U’s turnover for November is currently up 112% with transactions up 101%.

Jewellery lines carried by Watches2U have also been moved over to the dedicated new www.jewellery2U.com website.

The company’s ChrisElli store in Brighton has also introduced a Swatch shop-in-shop, becoming a regional destination for the brand, while Swatch watches and new product categories including Fossil leather goods have been added to the ChrisElli website.
