Mühle-Glashütte shows just how a day/date complication should be done with the latest addition to its Antaria collection.

The Antaria Tag/Datum, named after the Antares or red star, is a simple, elegant design with understated dial, free from any unwelcome distractions.

Powered by an automatic SW 220-1 movement with woodpecker neck regulation, the 42mm Antaria Tag/Datum has an anthracite dial and polished, bi-color case in stainless steel and red gold.

The dial is lifted with rose gold appliqué numerals and matching hands given pronounced clearance from the face, all complementing the rose gold bezel. While the slim case and tapered lugs sees the watch mould ergonomically to the wrist.

The watch is secured using a Russia leather strap fastened by a stainless steel deployment clasp.

The pictured bi-metal version will retail in the UK for £1,955 while an opaline and silver version will be available for £1,815.
