Moser & Cie. goes for an understated look on the Venturer Big Date Purity

In its new release, H. Moser & Cie. has opted for an oversized window to create one of the largest and most legible date displays on the market.

The new model sees the date integrated in the refined dial and is equipped with the flash calendar system that has the manufacture’s date movements.

The Venturer Big Date Purity sits halfway between the watches in the Concept series, which have neither logos nor indices, and standard models

It is equipped with four main indices at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, as well as the Moser logo.

Unlike most calendar watches, on which the date changes gradually, with H. Moser & Cie it changes in a fraction of a second.

This new model features a 41.5 mm diameter case and is equipped with the hand-wound HMC 100 manufacture calibre which has a power reserve of up to 10 days.

This edition also features two stacked date discs, the upper disc bearing the numbers 1 to 15 and the lower disc bearing 16 to 31.

Each number is also centred in the window located at 3 o’clock which enables the date to be adjusted forward or backward at any time using the crown, even if the date is in the process of changing, without risk of damaging the movement.
