Montblanc smashes fundraising target for UNICEF

Richemont brand Montblanc has smashed its original fundraising target for the UNICEF and donated $5 million to the international children’s charity.

The Montblanc Signature For Good initiative was first launched in March last year with the aim of raising $1.5 million through the sale of a range of writing instruments, jewellery and accessories.

The Signature For Good collection all featured a symbolic brick motif that represents the building blocks of children’s education.

UNICEF CEO Caryl Stern accepted the Montblanc cheque for $5 million at a charity event last week after less than 18 months of fundraising.
