Luminox gears up for world’s toughest obstacle course

Luminox is set to launch a new generation of its Luminox Special Operations Challenge, an event that gives civilians the chance to train like a Navy SEAL for the day.

The new LSOC event, powered by Tough Viking, the largest obstacle race in Scandinavia, will take place in Stockholm, where a selection of participants will take part in a 15 kilometer race.

As part of the launch, Luminox, as official timekeeper of the Tough Viking Series, will offer a Tough Viking Special Edition. The series features a black 45mm Carbon Compound case and olive dark green dial featuring the Tough Viking logo,a tribute to the Viking’s faith, using’s Thor’s winged helmet for inspiration.

The case and the unidirectional ratcheting bezel are all made of carbon compound, which results in an light and durable timepiece. The crystal is scratch-resistant, tempered mineral glass, and the double gasket stainless steel crown enables water resistance to 20ATM.

The turtle-shape Luminox case design features a protected crown balanced by an opposite outcropping that depicts a 200M stamp at the nine marker. The bright orange seconds hand efficiently contrasts with the green dial colour for enhanced visibility.

The Tough Viking Special Edition also features the newly designed Luminox signature strap and is provided with an additional green webbing strap as well as with a strap changing tool.

Luminox Spec Ops Challenge (LSOC), powered by Tough Viking, will take place on August 26.
