Longines backs Graf’s children’s charity with cash donation

Longines has donated 100,000 euros (£78,000) to a Swiss charity that helps children and families suffering because of war.

A cheque was presented by the Swiss brand’s Vice President and Head of International Marketing Juan-Carlos Capelli at the Children of Tomorrow’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany

Tennis legend Stefanie Graf was on hand as both an ‘Ambassador of Elegance’ for Longines and the non-profit charity foundation’s chairwoman and co-founder.

Graf said: “It was an honor to welcome our partner Longines in our premises and show them firsthand some of the programs we are providing to our patients. Since 2008, Longines has been an incredibly supportive partner by helping to raise awareness for our children and the needs of the foundation by highlighting our mission. I am sincerely pleased to collaborate with a partner who shares my passion and commitment for children in need.”

The sizeable donation will be used to support the charity’s work, especially art therapy with children and youths.
