Larsson & Jennings pushes up-market with mechanical pieces added to its range

Larsson & Jennings is continuing to push up-market this year with the addition of Lugano mechanical and Norse models to its range of Swiss Made watches.

Mechanical ETA movements have been added to classic Lugano styles, which is the brand’s longest-serving watch case, and the angular Norse collection that it launched in 2016.

The pieces have a glass case back so that the movement can be seen from underneath.

Both watches are offered in stainless steel, gold plated and rose gold plated styles in either a polished finish or a matte black PVD.

The introduction of new technical and decorative elements will not only appeal to horology enthusiasts but also those with a keen eye for design. Macro detailing, such as contrasting textured dials, uplift the watch face while the addition of a small sweeping seconds sub-dial complication provides further breadth to the watches capability, Larsson & Jennings says.

The Saxon Automatic watch, which originally launched in 2015, has also been updated with the addition of a textured brass dial in steel cases plated with gold, silver, matte black or rose gold.

“As our understanding of our core audience has grown, so has the desire to create new and exciting watches which will shake up perceptions of what a Swiss Made watch looks like. With this new mechanical collection, we offer a high quality, affordable mechanical watch to rival those of well-established heritage brands,” says Andrew Jennings, CEO of Larsson & Jennings.
