Danish watch brand Lars Larsen is tapping into the taste for vintage watches with a UK capsule collection of retro-inspired timepieces.
With pieces for both men and women, the Vintage & Retro collection makes use of ‘antique and distressed’ leather straps and domed sapphire glass and has been given the #StayOnTrend hashtag.
Prices for the collection, which features cases in steel and rose and yellow gold tones, range from £208 to £337 for the Swiss-made top-of-the-range model.
Claire Perkins, Lars Larsen brand director at Ebling Feres International Ltd, the brand’s official UK distributor, said: “Having recently exhibited at the CMJ August Trade Event, I was amazed (and pleased) to see so many of the vintage styles coming back into fashion. To me it is an antidote to ‘technology on the wrist’. Lars Larsen’s 2015 collection features so many watches with vintage straps that I decided unashamedly to jump on the bandwagon and create the Vintage & Retro Collection.”
