Johnsons 007 event

Johnsons’ Skyfall charity event raises GBP4,000

Johnsons’ Jewellers in Nuneaton last week hosted its night dedicated to all things 007, raising more than £4,000 through a screening of Skyfall and an Omega watch auction.

The retailer hosted the event as part of its 115th birthday celebrations during 2012. It invited guests along to a black tie evening with a special cinema screening of the latest Bond Movie, Skyfall, complete with a red carpet.

Libby Johnson, director of Johnsons Jewellers, said: “The Skyfall premier was such a fantastic evening. It has been another brilliant way to celebrate our 115th birthday in style and we were so pleased to welcome our guests to enjoy the evening with us.

“Johnsons Jewellers have been evolving and growing for over a century and the evening was an exclusive opportunity for us to say thank you, as well as looking to the future.”

The evening also included an auction of timepieces and jewellery, which raised more than £4,000 for Warwickshire charity the Mary Anne Evans Hospice. The charity, which recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, provides a broad spectrum of care for those suffering with a life limiting illness and their families.
