Jaquet Droz has modernized the Grande Seconde into a ‘modern evolution of an icon’.
The Grande Seconde Power Reserve Ceramic Clous de Paris has combined contemporary materials with an age-old finish to bring a watchmaking classic into the 21st century.
In the new model, the power reserve is a key feature.
Featuring two barrels the Grande Seconde’s self-winding movement ensures a power reserve of 68 hours and it is this autonomy that is accentuated on the dial by a semi-circular sector positioned at 9 o’clock.
The ceramic is virtually scratch-proof and unalterable which makes the new design ideal for everyday use while the Clous de Paris brings back the classic touch for which the Grande Seconde is known.
