Jaquet Droz has recreated its Grande Seconde timepiece in rose gold with a pure black enamel dial.
The Grande Seconde Black Enamel is the latest addition to the Grande Seconde family, which was introduced at last year’s Baselworld.
The 43mm piece comes in a red gold case that houses the Jaquet Droz 2660QL3 self-winding mechanical movement featuring a silicon balance spring and pallet horns, double barrel, flat bridges, and red gold oscillating weight.
The movement sits behind an off-centered dial for hours and minutes, as well as a large off-centered seconds dial at 6 o’clock.
Also on this large subdial is an inner rose gold ring to tell the date, as well as the moon phase in red and yellow gold, on a black onyx disc.
These two dials are surrounded by the black Grand Feu face that makes up the entire dial.
The 68 hour power reserve watch also boasts a crystal display back and individual serial number engravings on the back.
