Jaeger-LeCoultre officially re-opened its boutique at Harrods today, having retained a prime location on the ground floor of the refurbished Fine Watch Room.
The boutique will be joined by Richard Mille, Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin and a massive Rolex boutique that will almost as big as all other brands on the ground floor combined when it opens in April or May.
The Jaeger-LeCoultre store was opened by Beth Hannaway, divisional merchandise manager for Fine Jewellery and Fine Watches at Harrods and Zahra Kassim-Lakha, UK brand director for the watchmaker.
It is located at the top of a sweeping marble staircase from the lower ground floor area of the Fine Watch Room.
Ms Kassim-Lakha says that Harrods has been its best-selling outlet in the UK for high end complications and gem-set watches. “It also sells more ladies’ watches than men’s,” she adds.
