Inhorgenta 2017

Inhorgenta attracts 27,500 watch and jewellery professionals to Munich

Inhorgenta in Munich welcomed 27,500 trade visitors from over 70 countries this month, a 5% increase over 2016, the organiser says.

The show featured 987 exhibitors from 40 countries, 5% up on last year, most of which responded positively in surveys conducted after the show.

“The positive mood could be noticed in all halls among the exhibitors and visitors. This is confirmed by the first evaluation of the exhibitor and visitor survey. The values have further improved in all points. We can all be satisfied with the result,” said Klaus Dittrich, chairman and CEO of Inhorgenta organiser Messe München.

Matthias Stotz, Managing Director of Junghans, which won the Watch Design of the Year award at the show, said that Inhorgenta was the ideal way to start 2017. “Inhorgenta Munich is the ideal kick-off into the new business year for us — the event enjoys high priority within our company as a platform for professional exchange, inspiration and personal interaction,” he added.

Next year, Inhorgenta will return to a Friday to Monday run from February 16 to 19, 2018.
