Documentary filmmaker Philip Selkirk has released a five minute trailer for his forthcoming film, The Single Men, which focuses on the independent watchmakers of AHCI as the organisation celebrates its 30th Anniversary.
The final film, The Single Men – Masters of the Incredible and Beautiful, will be released in May but the trailer reveals the involvement of Academie Horlogere des Createurs Independants members Kari Voutilainen, Svend Andersen, Vincent Calabrese, Andreas Strehler, Vianney Halter, Paul Gerber, Miki Eleta, Philippe Dufour and François-Paul Journe among others.
Selkirk also interviews Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver and Wall Street Journal watch writer Michael Clerizo for their opinions on the work of the 32 AHCI watchmakers.
