IN PICTURES: All the winners of the 2018 WatchPro Awards

More than 320 watch business leaders gathered in London last night to celebrate the achievements of the industry’s brightest stars.

A packed ballroom at 8 Northumberland near Trafalgar Square saw awards presented in 14 categories, plus the presentation of WatchPro’s first Lifetime Achievement Award to Patek Philippe Managing Director Mark Hearn.

Here, we present the full list of winners as they collected their trophies on stage.

Rolex won Luxury Watch Brand of the Year for a third successive year, and again corporate policy prevented them from attending to collect the trophy.

 

Independent Luxury Watch Retailer of the Year was won by Boodles. Boodles director James Amos collected the trophy from Simon Wolf, CEO of watch winder specialist Wolf.

 

Watches of Switzerland director of retail Matthew Shields is presented with the award for Luxury Watch Retailer of the Year by Citizen Watch UK managing director Mark Robinson.

 

Mark Kershaw from Beaverbrooks Stock-In & Specials Department and Nick Bucknell, Head of Fashion & Classic Brands, collect the award for Volume Watch Retailer of the Year from Claire Willsher, National Account Manager for LBS.

 

WatchShop wins the Ecommerce Watch Retailer of the Year, presented by Mondaine’s Colin Lee, Director of Sales, Berndt Stadwieser, CEO, and Brigit Bircher, Brand Director.

 

Rob Corder (left) presents the WatchPro Award for Best New Store to Charlie Pragnell, managing director of Pragnell.

 

Christine Borg-Mirza, manager of Bucherer Westfield London, with the Award for Best Store Refurbishment of the Year.

 

Anna Blackburn (right) won the Retail Leader of the Year Award. It was presented by Loomes managing director Robina Hill.

 

Marketing & Merchandising Team of the Year was Hublot. Redd Retail director Karl Turnbull presented the award to Coralie Teboul, Marketing Director Hublot France, Benelux, United Kingdom, Ireland, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

 

Executive Leadership team of the year was won by Patek Philippe.

 

Bpay’s Rob Morgan presents the award for Lifestyle Watch Brand of the Year to Seiko Group Marketing Manager Faye Lovenbury.

 

Citizen won the Sales Team of the Year award, presented by Nick Hickey from Luxe Watches to Stuart Peacock and Simon Bates.

 

Martyn Jenkins, UK managing director of Gucci, collects the trophy for Best Fashion Watch Brand of the Year.

 

Mark Hearn, managing director of Patek Philippe UK was presented with WatchPro’s first ever Lifetime Achievement Award.
