IN PICS: Not just a day at the races for Longines

Longines has this week been celebrating 10 years of timing Royal Ascot.

2016 is the tenth year of the partnership between the Swatch Group-owned watch brand and the country’s most renowned horse racing event.

The week features 18 races, eight of them Group 1 events including the King’s Stand Stakes which was won by Profitable.  The horse’s owner, trainer, jockey and lad were presented with a Longines watch from the hands of Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal.

On Tuesday, Longines celebrated Caravaggio’s victory in the Coventry Stakes, awarding its owner, trainer, jockey and lad with Longines watches from The Longines Master Collection.

On Monday The Princess Royal was presented with the Longines Ladies Award 2016 at the Natural History Museum in London. It has also been revealed that The Princess Royal was presented with The Longines Equestrian Pocket Watch Horses Trio 1911, an 18ct rose gold pocket watch.
