IN PICS: Audemars Piguet celebrates launch of yellow gold collection

Audemars Piguet celebrated the launch of its new yellow gold collection in London last night with a glittering party.

Lion Babe’s DJ set rocked Phillips Auction House on Berkeley Square as guests drank Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne and Belvedere Vodka cocktails to celebrate the launch of Audemars Piguet’s new Royal Oak Yellow Gold collection. VIP guests, including, Arizona Muse, Roxie Nafousi, Jesse Metcalfe, Neelam Gill and Labyrinth were suitably dressed for such a fashion week launch party.

Jose Torrens, chief executive officer of Audemars Piguet UK, said: “We are very happy to be breaking the rules again, this time by reintroducing two icons: the Royal Oak, design that best represents our spirit of independence, and Yellow Gold, historically the symbol of luxury metal. Their get together has been more than overdue!”

Audemars Piguet commissioned urban artists, Ed Hicks and Steve Jurado, to create a unique live art installation which complimented Phillips Lower Ground Floor gallery to entertain guests. The finished artwork, a mixture of paint and projected illustrations made references to both the Royal Oak and yellow gold.
