Image spectacular by legendary photographer marks Vacheron Constantin collection launch

Highly regarded photographer Steve McCurry has been invited to share his perspective on the world to illustrate Vacheron Constantin’s new Overseas collection, capturing the ‘spirit of travel’ that served as the inspiration for the designs.

Vacheron Constantin will host a full exhibition of the locations of the Overseas Tour within the Fine Watch Room at Harrods as part of the partnership. On show from September 29 – October 5, it will be the first time that all of these images are exhibited in the UK.

The watch brand and McCurry have chosen to roam the world in 12 locations, little-known and sometimes inaccessible sites captured by the photographer. Founded in Geneva in 1755, Vacheron Constantin has insists it has consistently cultivated the spirit of travel inherited by one of its founders François Constantin.

According to the brand, the values associated with travel are an intrinsic part of the Vacheron Constantin heritage and philosophy. It said the casual elegance and practical nature of the new Overseas watches make them an ideal embodiment of this spirit.
