IBB London has signed a licensing agreement with Ibiza Rocks. IBB London will develop and distribute the party-brand’s first watches.
WatchPro can exclusively reveal that IBB London, which currently distributes Lulu Guinness watches, ToyWatch and Glam Rock, has signed a licensing deal, which will see the Ibiza Rocks watches enter the market before Christmas.
Ibiza Rocks has been around for seven years and is best known for its multiple live music events, travel company, branded hotels, bars and also as a fashion label. It is now branching into watches and jewellery.
Julian Pollock of IBB London said: "As a concept Ibiza Rocks is growing and is huge among its target audience."
He added: "It’s going to be a volume brand and we understand volume brands and our customers understand volume brands."
The brightly coloured timepieces, which are still being developed, will initially retail at between £25 and £30. Pollock said that a number of multiples have already expressed their interest in the brand.
There are further plans for product development over the next few years.
A launch party for the watches is being planned for Ibiza for March 2014.
