Watches licensed to the Hush Puppies brand are launching in the UK through Tide Distribution, with the intention of the brand “taking the mid-market storm”.
This is the first time Hush Puppies watches have entered the UK market, with Tide Distribution winning the exclusive license to distribute the watches in the UK and Ireland.
Some designs feature the iconic bassett hound motif associated with the footwear brand of the same name, with RRPs between £80 and £245. The brand’s current collection features more than 100 watches for men and women, casual and dress watches, as well as chronographs and multi-function models.
Tide’s director Karl Smith said: “We’re very excited and honoured to be working with such an iconic and well-known brand. We’re looking forward to representing Hush Puppies watches in the UK and Ireland and are sure our retailers will love the range.”
The watches will be available in early 2013. Hush Puppies timepieces were launched in 2002 and the collection is said to have been “received well with positive reviews” internationally.
