Hublot and The Watch Gallery co-create limited edition Classic Fusion

Hublot’s “art of fusion” comes in many forms, and a particularly successful version is when Hublot creates limited editions with and for specific retailers.

The Watch Gallery, which was bought by Bucherer earlier this year, has worked with Hublot to create three limited editions in the past few years, which have all been commercial hits.

Its fourth collaboration, the Classic Fusion Chronograph Aerofusion RED, is limited to just 45 pieces that will be sold exclusively at The Watch Gallery. It was launched at a London party this week.

Jean-Claude Biver, chairman of Hublot and president of LVMH Group Watch Division co-hosted the event with David Coleridge, chairman of The Watch Gallery.

300 guests headed to rooftop venue Aqua Kyoto, on London’s Regent Street. They were joined by Hublot brand ambassador Maxime Buchi, a creative designer and leading international tattoo artist, and they were entertained by presenter and DJ Zara Martin with a little help from Mr Biver.

Adrian Maronneau, director of buying & merchandising at The Watch Gallery said: “I can’t believe I am introducing our 4th Hublot limited edition. I hope you will agree that we, along with Hublot, have produced some amazingly exclusive watches over the past three years using our watch gallery blue as a running theme.

“But for our 4th limited edition it was time to shake things up a bit, dare I say add a bit of spice, something that Hublot is a absolute master of. I am therefore delighted to present our new TWG Hublot Classic fusion Aerofusion RED chronograph. Fusing titanium and ceramic for the case, the watch, limited to 45 pieces worldwide, sports accents of red through the dial and strap giving it the ultimate sporty edge. I hope you will find this time piece as irresistible as we have.”
