Hublot launches courtesy watch service

The car industry has been doing it for years, but now it seems that the concept of the courtesy car is moving into the watch world as Hublot launches its Atelier Watch.

Hublot has now rolled out the Atelier Watch service to its 49 boutiques, which offers a temporary replacement Hublot watch to any customer who is sending their own Hublot away for a check up, service or repair.

The watch brand said that while the service is available worldwide at all its own boutiques, Atelier Watch is not yet available at multi-brand retailers.

Hublot chief executive Ricardo Guadalupe said: “The Hublot customer is an integral part of our Hublot family. While his personal watch is being taken care of, we will be very pleased to provide him with an Atelier Watch.

“With this, he will remain both physically and emotionally connected to Hublot until his personal timepiece will be returned in perfect condition. We are very proud to have been able to roll out this concept in all Hublot’s boutiques worldwide, 49 of them to date, and in record time so as to be up and running for the return from the holidays.”
