Hublot has launched its King Power FC Bayern Munich timepiece, a watch that was designed by the team in collaboration with the brand.
The new model was unveiled with the brand’s chairman Jean-Claude Biver and Bayern Munich’s executive board member Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Bayern players, including Ribéry, Boateng, van Buyten, Luiz Gustavo, Can as well as the newly acquired Shaqiri and Pizarro, were also at the launch.
The timepiece is a titanium chronograph with a 45-minute display specially developed for football’s two-halves. The model is limited to 200 pieces and has red and blue details on the dial representative of the team’s strip, as well as its logo at 3 o’clock.
It has been jointly developed by the brand and football club and has been dubbed a “crowning symbol of the staunch alliance [and] an expression of the close friendship between the two greats on the playing field."
