Hublot creates Wayne Rooney limited edition for his charity foundation

Hublot, the new official Timekeeper for Manchester United, has created two limited edition designs of its Classic Fusion to raise money for the club star striker’s Wayne Rooney Foundation.

The watches were unveiled at a testimonial match at Old Trafford against Premiership rivals Everton.

Hublot has named the two limited edition watches The Hublot Classic Fusion Special Edition ‘Wayne Rooney’.

A titanium version will be limited to 65 pieces, while an 18-carat King Gold model will be limited to just two pieces. The entire run of both pieces will be donated to the Foundation.

Both models feature a red 10 in the 10 o’clock position in reference to Wayne Rooney’s Manchester United shirt number, while the case back is decorated with the words ‘Wayne Rooney Testimonial 2016’ and his signature.

Funds raised from the charity match and the various other testimonial events supported by Hublot will be distributed through the Foundation’s four chosen charities – the NSPCC, Claire House Hospice, Alder Hey Childrens Hospital and the Manchester United Foundation.
