Hublot celebrates women with new Big Bang

Hublot has launched a new collection of watches as a “tribute to strong women”, having teamed up with Monaco-based watchmaking figures Tina Zegg and Carlo Cerlati.

The watches were presented to a group of sixty women by Zegg and Hublot’s chairman Jean-Claude Biver at a conference on “the superiority of women”, held in Monaco yesterday, with guests including female company heads and opinion leaders.

Hublot said the event “provided the perfect opportunity to unveil the Big Bang Zegg & Cerlati, a watch designed for strong, dynamic women, based on idea which came from Carlo Cerlati and designed with his contribution in the image of his partner Tina Zegg”.

The 41mm women’s timepiece has a mirror-polished brass dial, something that is said to be extremely difficult to make due to its delicacy.

The model is available in two versions, an 18ct rose gold version limited to just 50 numbered pieces and a satin-finished polished steel version, of which 100 numbered pieces have been produced.

The two special editions will be sold exclusively available at Zegg & Cerlati boutiques, at Place du Casino in Monte Carlo, Ischgl in Austria and Samnaun in Switzerland.
