Hublot has been named official watch provider and timekeeper of Italian football team Juventus, a deal revealed during the SuperCoppa Grand Final match between Juventus and Naples, which took place in Beijing yesterday.
Hublot will partner with Juventus during the 2012-13 season, an announcement which comes after the team broke a record of playing an entire 38-game season undefeated.
The partnership continues Hublot’s push into the realm of football. It recently hosted a fashion show after its second store opening in Shanghai, with a little help from Sir Alex Ferguson and members of the Manchester United football squad.
The brand claims to be the first luxury brand to invest in football, having first done so in 2006. Since then it has worked in close collaboration with FIFA as the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of the FIFA World Cup and Euro 2012. It also has partnerships with the Bayern Munich team and Holland’s Ajax.
