The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) today announced that Hublot has achieved certification by meeting its ethical, social and environmental standards established by RJC’s Member Certification system.
The brand’s successful verification assessment was conducted by Marie-Charlotte Druesne from Ernst & Young, one of the independent third-party auditing firms accredited to the RJC’s Member Certification system.
Hublot chief executive officer Ricardo Guadalupe added: “Hublot is proud to have obtained RJC Certification because when our focus is often on the search for productivity and profitability, we must also respect a certain number of rules and values.
"These principles of ethics, social performance and environmental practices, not only make it possible for us to act as honest actors in the watch making market, but they constitute the base on which our future rests.”
