H&T Pawnbrokers on a mission to make Christmas come true

H&T Pawnbrokers is launching a toy collection for children’s hospitals and charities to round-off a year of fundraising activities.

Staff at more than 60 H&T Pawnbrokers stores across the country are, this week, setting up their Christmas fundraising activities, establishing drop-off points for Mission Christmas, a charity which collects gifts and money to help enable kids in poverty to enjoy Christmas.

John Nichols, chief executive officer of H&T Pawnbrokers, said: “I’m very proud of H&T staff for their enthusiasm and dedication to the gift collection and fundraising activities. As always I’m immensely grateful for our customers who so kindly donate to help out children who are in need at this time of year.”

This is the second year that H&T Pawnbrokers will have supported Mission Christmas, in 2014 it set up drop-off points at 57 stores in Scotland and northern England collecting thousands of presents for children.

This year drop-off points will be open until December 18th at H&T Pawnbrokers and Discount Secondhand Jewellery stores throughout Scotland, north east and north west England, the Midlands, Merseyside and Lancashire. Other stores will be supporting local and national children’s charities, local hospices, hospitals and food banks.
