For a company that’s based almost all of its output over the years on stripped back functionalist design, it is no surprise that Braun’s Prestige Chronograph has stood out this year for exactly that.
The brand got the attention of design-conscious hipsters everywhere by bringing back its original two iconic designers from 1962, Dieter Rams and Dietrich Lubs, to help design the new range of watches in conjunction with the expertise of the in-house team at watch house Zeon.
The results are predictably understated yet glorious.
Where chronographs can often look cluttered, the Prestige looks anything but.
It has a clean, convenient and satisfying aesthetic, which is exactly what we’ve come to expect from Braun.
This gents watch has a stainless steel case and is fitted with a chronograph quartz movement.
It is fastened with a black rubber strap and has a black dial with a date function.
