This special edition chronograph using Bulova’s excellent Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Precisionist movement celebrates the brand’s 140th anniversary this year.
Using Bulova’s three-pronged quartz resonator with a frequency of 262Khz, the movement manages to be eight times more precise than standard quartz movements and allows its seconds hand to sweep around the dial rather than jump.
The Precisionist movement also allows chronograph timing to 1/1,000th of a second should you ever need it. The green highlights on the dial reference the colour scheme of Bulova’s groundbreaking Accutron model from 1960 and the watch features a 140th Anniversary logo on the caseback.
The watch, which is water resistant to 300m, is crafted from 316L stainless steel with curved sapphire crystal and carbon fibre dial.
