Harry Winston opens renovated Harrods salon

Harry Winston has reopened its salon in Harrods following a three-month renovation.

Located in the Fine Jewellery Room of the luxury Knightsbridge department store, the newly expanded salon presents a dedicated timepiece gallery as well as the brand’s collections of fine jewellery.

“As one of the world’s leading department stores, Harrods is a key and valuable part of our UK business,” said Nayla Hayek, chief executive officer of Harry Winston, Inc. “With this reopening, we are pleased to not only continue our relationship with Harrods, but also to reinforce our position in its premier fine jewellery room, with an even more exceptional setting to showcase our most exceptional collections.”

The salon has been redesigned to capture the ‘elegance and intimacy’ of a private estate with design cues from Harry Winston’s flagship boutique on Fifth Avenue in New York.

A soft taupe and grey colour palette complements the custom designed black and lacquer and antique bronze furniture, with bespoke chandeliers, hand-beaded silk walls and antique accents.

“We are delighted to introduce the beautifully refurbished Harry Winston boutique, with dedicated private client rooms, one celebrating the House’s exquisite diamond jewellery and the other dedicated to their expanding collection of timepieces,” said Helen David, fashion director at Harrods. “At Harrods, we pride ourselves in having the best stones, designs, and watches within the global fine jewellery offer, and with Harry Winston’s new boutique, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to offering our customers the finest luxury shopping experience available anywhere in the World in our Fine Jewellery department.”
