Gucci features embroidered snakes, tigers and bees on its 2017 novelties

Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry has given an advanced preview of its 2017 line up, which includes additions to its Le Marché des Merveilles collection and Gucci Dive watches.

Both collections have turned to the natural world for inspiration. The new Marché des Merveilles watches use animal motifs including a tiger, a bee and a snake, which feature as emboidered images on the dials and on coloured leather straps.

38mm watch cases, engraved on the back with the same animal as the face, are coordinated to the dial colours of each timepiece.

The new Dive watches also feature Gucci favourites: the tiger and the bee on their embroidered faces and casebacks.

The watches are available with 45mm or 40mm cases, each containing a Swiss made Ronda movement, and presented with either a Gucci web nylon strap in blue-and-red or green-and-red, or a rubber strap stamped with the Gucci logo.

  1. WHY Gucci choose the snakes, tigers and bees on its 2017 novelties? Is there any story behind on it?
