Greubel Forsey has appointed Fabrice Deschanel as CEO. He will also head CompliTime SA.
Greubel Forsey is a low-volume, high value watchmaker, partly owned by Richemont Group.
CompliTime offers services to third party watch companies including conception, design, and development of watch movements along with creating cases and dials.
Mr Deschanel joined Greubel Forsey in April 2017 and was appointed CEO in June.
He brings more than 25 years’ experience in fine watchmaking, having previously headed Audemars Piguet (Renaud & Papi), which is where he first met Greubel Forsey co-founder Robert Greubel in 1990.
Stephen Forsey joined them at Audemars Piguest in 1993, where he was given the challenge of working on the most complicated movements for the watchmaker.
Mr Greubel and Mr Forsey will remain active in Greubel Forsey, but will focus less on the running of the business and more on the vision for its watchmaking.

Mr Deschanel brings with him a wealth of industry experience that will enable Greubel Forsey to broaden and strengthen a strategy to build, going forward, on the successes achieved to date,” the company says.
