Globe-Trotter launches watch travel case

Globe-Trotter, the historical British luggage brand known primarily for its suitcases, is about to launch a luxury watch case in two versions.

Manufactured from the same vulcanised fibreboard and fine leather as the core luggage, one of the 9” cases is coated in Urushi lacquer and features six pillows to hold the timepieces.

Another feature is that the lid of the case can be personalised by being initialled with up to six letters.

This move by Globe-Trotter to produce watch cases, which will be produced at the brand’s factory in Hertfordshire, is in reaction to the ever-evolving demands of its customers.

The dove grey piece is priced at £625 and the burgundy case retails at £1,250.
