Glam Rock will auction off a bespoke timepiece tonight to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation.
The watch brand has created four one-off Amy Winehouse watches in homage to the late singer and plans to auction them over the next year.
The first auction taking place tonight will be held during The Amy Winehouse Foundation Ball at The Dorchester hotel in London. The watch, which is presented in a large box with four click-on bezels and three straps, has a retail price of about £3,000 but Glam Rock UK distributor IBB London expects that the winning bid for the watch will be much higher than this.
The watch has been decorated with Winehouse’s name in her trademark font and the black and white dial is decorated with a song bird, flower, musical notes and butterflies.
The three remaining Amy Winehouse Glam Rock watches will be auctioned off at later events, including one event in New York hosted by Tony Bennett.
