Givenchy shows off first automatic Seventeen

Givenchy has revealed the first mechanical version of its Seventeen watch.

The sporty design with pronounced lugs and crown guard is powered by the automatic ETA 2892, known for its accuracy and reliability which is showcased through a sapphire crystal caseback.

The Seventeen’s lightweight titanium case is satin-finished, setting the automatic apart from the quartz stainless steel version, which are priced between £689-£1070.

Extensive use of vintage-look luminous material on the dial and hands ensures supreme legibility in low light conditions while the sweeping seconds hand is picked out in contrasting red.

The Givenchy Seventeen Titanium Automatic is presented with two interchangeable black NATO-style straps; one in grosgrain nylon, the other in raw-cut edge calfskin.

Although a retail price has yet to be finalized for the UK, it is expected to be approximately £1,990. Givenchy watches are distributed in the UK by Zircontime in Worcestershire.
