Giles Bushby’s watch distribution company has appointed Ebel’s former sales and marketing director in the UK to drive sales of its new brands.
Linda Brandwood joins GB&RS Ltd as Sales Director responsible for the company’s two brands, SwissEmporio and Minster1949, which is due to launch shortly.
Giles Bushby, chief executive officer of GB&RS Ltd, said: “Linda brings a wealth of experience to our team at GB&RS from her previous roles with Ebel and Rado. As Sales Director, she will be responsible for all aspects of selling our own brands and upcoming licenses in the UK market.”
Bushby, former managing director of Fossil Group in the UK, recently founded GB&RS Ltd as a brand holding, watch distribution and licensing company.
SwissEmporio and Minster1949 were today announced as Approved Watch Suppliers by the Company of Master Jewellers and will exhibit at the CMJ’s next trade event in Birmingham in August.
Brandwood, who is also former Rado Brand Manager for Swatch Group, said: “I am really pleased to be joining GB&RS at such an exciting time in their development; the continual sales of SwissEmporio and the forthcoming launch of Minster1949 at the CMJ Show in August give great opportunity for stunning growth this year.”
