Fossil reveals first pictures of connected Q range

Fossil has revealed details of its first connected products at fashion shows in the US.

According to Fossil’s blog, a trio of Fossil Q ‘connected accessories’ were shown at the Baja East and Dion Lee fashion shows in New York including a connected ‘non-display’ watch, an Android Wear-powered round connected watch and a connected bracelet.

The non-display watch would seem to be the analogue quartz watch with added connectivity that Fossil Group CEO Kosta Kartsotis mentioned in August.

Watches will be available with a range of strap options while the bracelet will be available in his and hers styles.

The product line-up has been designed by Fossil’s watch team and engineered with Intel Innovation.

All three will be compatible with both Android and iOS-based smartphone apps which will feature activity tracking and social media and notification management.

Fossil states that the Fossil Q range will be available for in time for Christmas.
