Final few tables remaining for spectacular WatchPro Awards dinner

Voting has closed for the 2016 WatchPro Awards, and the winners names have been verified and sealed away in the vault at Promedia Towers.

Attention now turns to the Gala Dinner on October 26, when the winners in 14 awards categories will be announced.

Finalists have all been contacted directly to secure their tables at the awards, which means there are just a handful of tables remaining.

The black tie WatchPro Awards dinner takes place at the Undercroft of Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, a faithful reconstruction of The Bard’s original theatre on the banks of the River Thames in London.

Guests will be treated to a fantastic three-course meal, free house drinks all night, and the excitement of the Awards presentation.

“The reaction to these Awards has been astonishing,” says Rob Corder, managing editor of WatchPro. “We created the Awards because the success of the British watch industry deserves to be recognised and celebrated not just by those working here, but by watch executives from around the world.

“It is an incredible achievement that the British watch industry has grown from the tenth largest market in the world to the fourth biggest this year. Of course global watch brands headquartered in other parts of the world are contributing to this success, but the business leaders in this country’s retailers, wholesalers, brand offices and service companies deserve the greatest respect for their efforts.

“It is these business leaders working in Britain that will be taking home the gongs on October 26,” Mr Corder concludes.
