Norway’s women’s world champion boxer Cecilia Brækhus is among a line up of high-achieving but largely unknown females fronting Georg Jensen’s latest advertising campaign.
The marketing highlights the Danish brand’s latest jewellery, homeware and watches in a series of photographs and videos featuring female leaders from the worlds of film directing, motocross, stand up comedy and fine dining.
Cecilia Brækhus is featured in a series of glamorous portraits wearing Georg Jensen’s new gold coloured Vivianna watch. The original Vivianna was designed in 1967 by Vivianna Torun Bülow-Hübe, a Swedish designer who created a the classic open bangle as a fusion between fine jewellery and fine watch making.
In another portrait, Danish film director Susanne Bier wears a white Vivianna with silver face.
“At Georg Jensen we’ve always encouraged women to be themselves and make their own success – our campaign is the extension of that very philosophy and the women featured are the embodiment of that”, says Eva-Lotta Sjöstedt, who was appointed the first female CEO of Georg Jensen earlier in 2016 and today leads the senior management team where 50% of the members are female.
Georg Jensen watches are sold at Georg Jensen’s own website, Berry’s Jewellers and Hancocks Jewellers at prices ranging from £1200 to £2000 depending on finishes.
